Photo-Collage of the 29th Open Art Exhibition

Sunday 17th April to Monday 25th April
The judge for this year was Robyn Collier
http://www.robyncollier.com.au/
Robyn is a self taught artist of the realist tradition, known for her ability to capture light in her work. Robyn's particular love of wilderness is evident in her painting and forms the inspiration for her depictions of remote landscapes, gathered from her extensive travels into Australia's wild places.

Robyn's paintings are held in corporate and private collections worldwide, including Barclays Bank, The Japanese Consul, and Cambridge University to name a few and she has held over 30 exhibitions.

Robyn feels the need to spend time in a place to 'feel' the emotional and spiritual essence of a given area, even though most of her work is done in a studio these days. Her philosophy stems from her love of the environment. She states that she "simply wants to show people the magic of the natural world through her eyes - to have them experience places they may never see".
