Introduction
Great Lakes Art Society Incorporated (GLAS)GLAS Encourages and promotes the cultivation of art and sculpture and provide means of social discourse between artists, art lovers and patrons.
GLAS have been holding exhibitions of the highest possible standard for public viewing and sale for 30 years in Forster / Tuncurry and have been working to raise the standard of art and sculpture by arranging suitable tutorials, drawing and film nights and lectures by competent teaching artists.

TRIVIA NIGHT – SATURDAY 2nd JUNE – 6PM
The next popular Trivia Night will be held on Saturday, 2nd June, at 6pm.
The theme this time is "Aussie Carvery".
Tickets are $20 per head, which includes dinner and the usual excellent Trivia.
So come along and invite your friends to make Tables of 8.

SENIOR MEMBER’S EXHIBITION
SENIOR MEMBER’S EXHIBITION- Saturday 14th July to Sunday 22nd July, 2012
We are holding a week-long Exhibition to celebrate the works of our early members, who are no longer exhibiting at the Gallery.
We want to honour our important members who have helped over the past 30 years to make the Art Society and Gallery the success it is today.
This will be incorporated with our annual Soup-n-Slice day held at noon on Saturday 14th July.

We look forward to hearing from anyone who would like to participate in this Special Exhibition.
Only one artwork would be required from each person, which can be just for exhibition or for sale.
Arrangements could be made to collect the artwork from you if needed, before the opening day.
